Caring for your stone

Travertine and Marbles are natural stones that have been created over millions of years as a result of extreme heat and pressure.  It is literally candy from the earth and one of the most wonderful natural items you can have in your home.

All Maison Roca tables are factory sealed before coming to you, and this will help to protect them from staining and etching.  However please refer to the guide below for tips on keeping your stone looking its best for years to come.

• We recommend using table mats and coasters to protect your table. 
• Avoid exposing the table to any acids such as lemon juice, vinegar or wine and some cleaning products as the surface may be damaged or dulled as these are erosive to stone.
• Use soft cloths such as microfibre to clean
• Use warm water to clean your table, or a ph neutral cleaner mixed with water, or a specific marble cleaner. We think just water is best.
• Sealant is the best way to protect your stone, re-seal every 4-6 months for best protection.
